This Holiday Season will be, for La Société du Thé, our 24th. To all our patrons old and new we say, “thank you.”
The Christmas season is our busiest time and normally sees our small shop fill with people selecting tea and accessories for gifts. But this year we have the Grinch of Covid to deal with. Normally we allow people to see the teas but this year, for obvious reasons, we won’t. It is our responsibility to protect you and our teas.
Our protocol since the virus’ resurgence is to not allow people into the shop. We’ve been informing people that our website lists our teas and prices. People then can call ahead and place an order and we’ll have it ready at the time they specify. It is not a perfect system but a precautionary one.
By December, the temperatures will be pretty cold. We don’t want anyone waiting outside longer than absolutely necessary. We suggest that you call us to discuss gift ideas. Remember, we’ve been at it for a quarter century. Let us help.
